At the end of 2016 Star were employed by a specialist Secondary Care client with a product range spanning Renal, Haematology and Cardiology therapy areas. The client has two divisions within the business, one of which they co-promote, and they were looking for a partner to recruit alongside their internal talent team.

Star began to work with the client to really understand the business model and culture, and quickly built a strong working partnership with them. This helped Star to understand what an ideal candidate 'looked like' to the client. Embedding into the client's culture helped us to achieve an excellent CV:placement ratio.

Led by the dedicated Account Manager, the service delivery was of a consistently high standard, resulting in Star becoming a trusted partner and advisor.

  • In 2017 we had filled seven specialist KAM roles, one RBM role, and one Medical role as requested. Star subsequently filled 100% of the client's advertised roles in 2017.
  • Due to the ongoing success with this side of the business, Star was then asked to assist with recruitment across the client’s other core business areas. 10 roles were released, with Star filling three of these (internal talent team: six, secondary agency partner: one).
  • Star is now proudly recruiting the client's sales and marketing roles too, along with other business units including medical. The most recent role that the client had struggled to recruit for, was turned around and placed by Star within just 10 days.
