Stars shine brightly at 2019’s PharmaTimes Awards

This year’s PharmaTimes Marketer of the Year and Sales Awards dinner was a huge success for Star, with one of our Stars scooping the ‘Primary Care Sales Professional of the Year’ award and also a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Secondary Care category.

‘Primary Care Sales Professional of the Year’ was won by Anna Munroe.

It means a lot to me to win the pharma, it was really nice even to be nominated to compete!”, said Anna.

[It was] a tricky experience as the process was difficult, but I really, really enjoyed it. It really motivated me to think outside the square, and to push myself that little bit further. I would definitely recommend the competition to other people – I already have!”*

Star is enduringly proud of its quality service offering to both clients and customers. Anna was described by one of her Healthcare professional customers as “efficient, responsive, approachable, accurate and knowledgeable”, as well as “a pleasure to work with […] always quick to respond to queries […] a great support, helping with training events as well as providing materials quickly to help ensure safe practice."

They also added that the whole team were grateful for Anna’s support, and that she was “very approachable with excellent communication skills, which makes it easier to work together to support patients”.

Also recognised was Amanda Snelling, receiving the Highly Commended award in the ‘Secondary Care Professional of the Year’ category.

I feel honoured”, she said. “The finalist assessment day was a challenging but enjoyable experience, and it has given me the opportunity to reflect on how I work alongside my colleagues and personally develop moving forward.
