Forest Laboratories Europe is the European division of Forest Laboratories inc. They produce branded, prescription products and over the counter products. Products are marketed in the UK and Ireland, Holland, Greece, Poland, Hungary, the Middle East and Australasia. In the UK and Ireland Forest have their own sales force and elsewhere they are in partnership with other pharmaceutical marketers.
There are 3 divisions to Forest Laboratories Europe. Founded in 1938 and previously trading under Pharmax, the Ethical Division produces branded prescription products. The Healthcare Division was founded in 1987 and the Community Care Division, previously Tosara Products, was founded to provide information on community healthcare products to Health Visitors, Midwives, District Nurses and Nurse Home staff.
