Previously known as Trinity Pharmaceuticals, Chiesi Ltd is proud of its heritage. Established in 1995 the Huddersfield based Trinity Pharmaceuticals specialised in cardiology, musculoskeletal and respiratory medicines. A modest sized company with real ambition, Trinity's core objective was to satisfy patient need whilst meeting those of the NHS. In 1999, Trinity was acquired by Italian research based company Chiesi SPA. With similar values and a likeminded approach to business, Trinity and Chiesi became a perfect partnership.

Since it was founded in Italy three generations ago, Chiesi has accumulated over 75 years of experience of innovating in healthcare. Today, as a truly global organisation, Chiesi has a presence on five continents, and its medicines and technologies are available in more than 60 countries.
