In its "lifecare" division, Pentax produces endoscopes, light sources and processors.
Pentax's range of endoscopes are made with 80 years of technological research behind them and as such are lightweight, compact and durable.
In March 2005 Pentax Medical Company acquired Kay Elemetrics and now their products are distributed under the name KayPentax. They produce speech, voice and swallowing instrumentation. From January 2007 Pentax UK can now distribute KayPentax products.
