Paul Hartmann Ltd is based in Rochdale and produces risk prevention products (operating theatre product), wound management and continence care.
The parent company is Paul Hartmann AG and is amongst the long established German companies and is the oldest German dressing's manufacturer. The company was started in a spinning mill and in 1873 the company started to produce absorbent cotton wool and this led to the manufacture of dressings on an industrial scale.
Paul Hartmann products include continence care, operating theatre products, bandages, wound management, skin care and hygiene.
The Menalid skincare range is developed to protect mature skins which may become damaged as a result of coming into contact with urine, faeces or pressure sores. It includes Creatine and Pantheonol.
The Valarange is a range of disposable products made of a gentle textile. The product range includes wash gloves, bibs and face masks.
The Moli range is a latex free continence care system including shaped pads, all in one briefs and pull ups.
