Cololplast Limited is a subsidiary of Coloplast A/S of Denmark.
Coloplast A/S were founded in 1957 after Danish nurse, Elise Sorensen, moved by her sister's and other stomy patients plights, designed and, with the help of Aage Louis-Hansen, produced a new polyethylene colostomy bag. Coloplast now market and distribute stoma and continence care products, skin and wound care products and breast care products. They now employ around 4000 employees.
