I wanted to write to commend you on your employee Samantha Wise. At the beginning of this year I knew I wanted to change roles but my expectations were very high as I was looking for my dream job. I contacted several agencies via a variety of websites, one of which was star.
I received a telephone call from Samantha at 7.45am to talk to me about my application and what I was looking for in a role. She then dedicated over an hour really getting to grips with what type of role I was looking for and what constituted my dream job. After our discussion she selected several roles to discuss with me one of which I had been spoken to by three other agencies before her.
With each of the previous agencies I had turned the role down as one that I did not think would be of interest due to the product and the company. Sam spent over half an hour matching the company and product benefits to everything I had previously stated and what she did not know about the role and company was not worth knowing about.
In our hour and half first telephone conversation she built up my trust in her and her abilities, the honesty and integrity of star and also convinced me to go to first interview with Daiichi Sankyo.
Prior to my interview she phoned to ask a few competency-based questions to ensure I was ready for the interview and gave her support and offer of assistance should I need it. The end result has been that I have now worked with Daiichi Sankyo for two weeks and if it had not been for Sam knowing her customers, the role, product and me I would not be in the position I am now.
Samantha and star really puts all the other recruitment agencies to shame, it is a refreshing change where the recruitment consultant is as passionate about the applicant as the customer hiring.
